Ipsy - April 2014 - Mini Reviews

If you'd like to subscribe to Ipsy for $10/month, please use my referral link. I'd really appreciate it!

Urban Decay Travel Size is .8g/.03 oz. and their full size is 1.2g/.04 oz. The full size liners retail for $20. So if you do the math, that would mean that this liner is worth $15 (since it is 3/4 the size). I don't think that is necessarily true because UD will do travel eyeliner sets with 5 travel size eyeliners for a certain price and per eyeliner they end up being much cheaper.

This eyeliner in Black Velvet is truly matte.

My experience with the other 24/7 eyeliner I have in a bright true blue is that it really does not stay well on my eyes (well, specifically waterline, but that's where these eyeliners are supposed to last). I am wondering since this is a true matte, if it will last better.
[UPDATE] So far it has lasted a lot better. Definitely not 24/7 and maybe not even up to what many reviews say. But it has lasted better than the original 24/7 liner that I have.

Dr. Brandt. Microdermabrasion skin exfoliant. The sample size is .25 oz.
I have not used this yet. I have quite a few other open samples and products that I am using. And this is sealed, so I will be keeping it safe for some time.

Elizabeth Mott - Pop Goes the Eyeshadow in Champagne.
I put my finger nail in it :(
I have used it already, and it's alright. I don't know if it's worth the price. I'll certainly use it, but a primer is needed for even and more opaque coverage.

Demeter Roll On Perfume Oil - Jasmine
Full Size - $10
It smells exactly like flowers. Straight, running through an open field of flowers. People have really liked it and I guess if you like florals you will. I like it, sort of. It's good for spring, but I am not a huge fan of florals. In fact, I think it definitely gave me a headache each time I have worn it. And it does not last more than a few hours. Don't get thrown off by "oil". It does not come off oily, and it does not stay oily. It immediate soaks into the skin. Think of a dry body oil.
