I'm such a bad blogger :)) But I think it's because none of my cameras have batteries in them. I got a brand new phone where I can take really nice HD 1080p pictures and video and upload straight to photobucket, but then it broke and am waiting for the replacement to come in. It's supposed to come today and then I can upload a bunch of pictures. I have no much to add that I don't know if I should do one post, or multiple ones. Hmmmm...
-Mini Haul, Target, Walmart and Sephora
-Birchbox, Beauty Army, Julep, MyGlam from multiple months
-Adventures in Beauty Exploration (lol)
-A few random looks I did (actually uploaded these pictures to instagram and twitter)
I bought my first "high end" product yesterday -
Definitely not the most high end -
But I bought the Stila Lip Glaze trio set in "Tiki" which is sooo super amazing and I'm so in love that I'm trying to save money so that whenever they come out with a new set I can buy it. I wasn't able to get the red carpet one I wanted and the other one that was just out at Ulta.
- I just saw that this set is not on the Sephora website (I got it in store) so I don't know if it's no longer available, or that new. But they did not have the two on the site in the store I was at.
This is it here ...
The colors are Guava, Tropical Punch and Hibiscus. And the picture doesn't even do Hibiscus justice. They each have their own tropical type scent. I hate the smell of tropical fruit so it's a good thing you can't smell them once they are on. I haven't tasted them yet because I hate tropical fruit so much and really don't want to find out lol. I never "taste" my gloss. They are sticky, which I LOVE sticky lip gloss. I know the one thing most people hate. They're more sticky than the ELF ones and I love how the ELF ones are but they just don't last very long. The Stila ones last a long time, especially for a gloss, and I am wondering if that is due partially because they are sticky. I love to smack my lips together because they're sticky. I know, I'm weird.
What I am Loving:
*Stila Lip Glaze trio set in "Tiki"
*NYX Colored Lip Balm in
*Dermstore Lip Quench - LOVEEEE - my most favorite lip product/balm thing
*Fortune Cookie Soap scent - "Granny Panties" - Which was L.E. from their Spring Collection which is now on sale on their site.
* The color orange and coral - I am doing my daily looks around these colors and will try to post pictures of how I do this. I want the entire Sephora/Pantone Universe collection. See also the next point which applies to the blushes they came out with...
*Blushes that have a "sheen" - Duo chrome and products that have a sheen or a color changing property make my heart melt and knees go week. LOL. Which brings me to my "Love/Hate Product of the Minute...."
Love/Hate Product of the Minute:
*Hard Candy "Fox in a Box" Blush "Smooth Talker"- this is currently my love/hate relationship product - if you swatch the product on bare skin, it doesn't show up. The product itself is quite silky and at first, seems a little chalky if you swatch with your finger. And there is a lot of "fall out" when you swipe your brush in it. But when you swatch it over foundation (and I use a specific brush from bare minerals for blush and have not found another one I like as much) it comes out so pretty and gorgeous that I like fall apart I am so in love. The colors have a sheen to them, that is the same color as the blush color, but different at the same time. And I can get that sheen to show up on my cheeks but not the actually blush color. Which at the same time, I do not mind. I didn't have my normal foundation on yesterday so that may have been the case. So I'm exploring this product and trying to figure it out because I adore the colors sooooo much.
I want to buy more of their products because they have a lot of baked products and there are some really pretty blushes that I want to try. They even have an orange blush and bronzer in a box ("Skinny Dipping") which I am currently obsessed with orange and wanted to buy this one, but I had never tried a product from them and didn't want extremely pigmented orange cheeks, just a hint. But after trying this other "fox in a box" blush, I think it would totally work.
I was going to try "Truth or Dare" but I wanted a contour that didn't have shimmer and I thought since I am do pale that that one might work, but it has shimmer. It's a little brighter in person.
Pictures of swatches to come!!!
Also, most of the colored text has links to the product. It just doesn't easily show that it is a link. I need to figure out how to get it underlined automatically when it's a hyperlink versus just colored.
Goodbye for now!
